I am a business law generalist. I assist our clients in mergers and acquisitions as well as in insolvency, contract and company law matters.

Before joining Norra I have worked in some of the largest law firms in Finland, where I have participated in the management of numerous extensive and demanding bankruptcies and corporate restructurings. In addition to M&A assignments, I have been engaged in managing bankruptcies and corporate restructurings and advising companies facing financial distress situations. I have assisted both domestic and foreign creditors and financiers in insolvency related assignments. I have represented clients in courts, particularly in insolvency-related disputes.

I have long-term experience in carrying out share and business transactions, due diligence inspections and related negotiations. Acting as the corporate legal advisor throughout the life cycle of a company, I have gained valuable insight into the various legal challenges as well as the legal services clients need. My experience also includes acting as a member of the board of directors.

My long experience in operational executive roles has given me a solid understanding of executive work, practical decision-making and business challenges, which is a key strength in supporting our clients.

Previously, I served as CEO of a circular economy company that was listed on the First North marketplace in 2021. Prior to that, I held CFO and finance leadership positions in the energy sector and other capital-intensive industries. This background has provided me with extensive experience in various types of financing and corporate transactions, as well as the capital markets.

Earlier in my career, I worked as an auditor at a Big Four firm and completed the Finnish Certified Public Accountant (KHT) qualification. In addition to my auditing and CFO background, I have gained strong experience in accounting and corporate law through board positions and by serving as a secretary and advisor to company boards.

I have assisted clients in taxation related appeal procedures as well as tax dispute procedures. Hence, I am familiar with the judicial procedure in general administrative courts. Further, I have trained entrepreneurs and professionals working in financial administration in different occasions.
