I specialize in real estate and construction, employment law, which I have practiced all my career as an attorney.

I act as a counselor in various construction projects and real estate related contractual matters. I have extensive experience in contract deals, design and consultancy agreements, land use, zoning, real estate arrangements and related contracts and governmental procedures. I have participated in the various stages of the project implementation of several major construction projects. I advise and assist clients in project-related problems. I have handled a considerable amount of construction and real estate-related disputes in general courts and arbitration. I also have experience administrative processes in construction. In also advice clients of the private and public sector in all labor law issues and assist in litigation related to labor law. I have handled numerous employment disputes in courts.

I am a business law generalist. I assist our clients in mergers and acquisitions as well as in insolvency, contract and company law matters.

Before joining Norra I have worked in some of the largest law firms in Finland, where I have participated in the management of numerous extensive and demanding bankruptcies and corporate restructurings. In addition to M&A assignments, I have been engaged in managing bankruptcies and corporate restructurings and advising companies facing financial distress situations. I have assisted both domestic and foreign creditors and financiers in insolvency related assignments. I have represented clients in courts, particularly in insolvency-related disputes.

I have long-term experience in carrying out share and business transactions, due diligence inspections and related negotiations. Acting as the corporate legal advisor throughout the life cycle of a company, I have gained valuable insight into the various legal challenges as well as the legal services clients need. My experience also includes acting as a member of the board of directors.

I have a extensive experience in the field of construction in various positions. I have worked as a lawyer for more than ten years in the largest construction companies of Finland.

I assist our clients in real estate and construction related matters throughout the life cycle of the properties. This covers the period from the development phase through zoning, planning and construction phases to the end of the maintenance period of the property until the property at the end of its life cycle is ready for redevelopment.

I have particularly strong expertise in different procurement and contract models as well as dispute resolution during the execution phases of construction projects. Additionally, my typical work tasks have included, for example, corporate, entity structure and contractual planning, assisting with competitive tendering and commenting of contracts regarding real estate and construction projects. I also assist our clients in dispute resolution.

I am a carpenter by my first profession. My experience of everyday life at the construction site helps me to  focus on the essential factors as a lawyer. I have trained on the bench at the District Court of Oulu in 2012 and I have also experience from the Administrative Court. Prior to joining Norra Attorneys, I worked in Skanska, where I had the opportunity to work in various positions.

Prior to joining Norra Attorneys, I worked as a tax advisor in multinational professional services firms where I assisted clients primarily in domestic and international income taxation related matters. I have experience in the income taxation of small and medium enterprises as well as large-scale enterprises, international taxation, and transfer pricing.

I have assisted clients in taxation related appeal procedures as well as tax dispute procedures. Hence, I am familiar with the judicial procedure in general administrative courts. Further, I have trained entrepreneurs and professionals working in financial administration in different occasions. I have also worked, among other things, in a big law firm and National Supervisory Authority of Welfare and Health.
