Paula Cruz

I advise companies, housing companies and private individuals on a wide range of legal matters relating to construction, real estate and construction projects. My particular areas of expertise include construction and contract disputes, as well as disputes relating to residential and real estate transactions.

I have extensive knowledge of the key contractual practices and standard terms used in the construction industry, including YSE 1998 and KSE 2013. I advise clients throughout the various stages of construction projects, from drafting contracts and other legal documents to assessing their legal rights and resolving disputes through negotiations and litigation.

In addition, I have strong expertise in contract and tort law, as well as corporate law. I also advise clients on matters relating to residential leases.

During my legal studies, I was awarded the Ilkka Kontula Foundation Recognition Award in 2018. The award is presented at the University of Helsinki Faculty of Law to students whose academic performance, based on completed theses and examinations, has been of the highest standard.
