We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our team and work on challenging business law assignments.
At Norra, you will independently handle a wide range of complex business law assignments, taking responsibility for your work as part of a team and in close collaboration with our partners. Your role will be tailored to your expertise and interests. Your work will involve assignments in at least one of the following practice areas:
- Commercial contracts
- Real estate and construction
- Environment, infrastructure and energy
- Employment
- Dispute resolution and litigation
You will work directly with clients, contribute to developing client relationships and support junior colleagues. Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a lawyer with at least five years of experience in business law, gained for example at a law firm or in an in-house legal department. Experience in one or more of the practice areas listed above will be considered an advantage. We value the ability to handle complex assignments independently, a thorough and detail-oriented approach, a business-minded perspective and a proactive attitude towards client work.
We expect you to have:
- A Master of Laws degree (LL.M. or equivalent)
- At least five years of professional experience in business law
- Excellent command of Finnish and good command of English
We consider the following an advantage:
- Completion of the Finnish Bar Examination, qualification as an Attorney-at-Law and/or the Finnish title of varatuomari (trained on the bench)
- Experience in litigation
- Additional language skills
