In public procurement procedures, legal advice ensures that decisions are made on the correct premises and that the parties involved have appropriate means available to protect their rights. Public procurement disputes often concern not only an individual procurement decision, but also ensuring that the rules governing the procurement procedure are properly applied.
We advised Harviala Oy on a request for procurement rectification submitted to the contracting authority and on an appeal before the Market Court. Following our legal advice, the contracting authority issued a procurement rectification decision, as a result of which the proceedings before the Market Court were discontinued.
